The Role of Pornography in Sex Education
Porn doesn't claim for itself a role as a sex educator, but unfortunately it has acquired that role. The idea that we can see lots of different bodies is good because within schools there is little or no comprehensive sex and relationship education. We are too much in love with the idea of love and without any real sense of what it might mean to equip our kids for encountering porn and sex. Dr Smith: "We refuse to actually acknowledge that there are these very deep and problematic feelings"
