The Blink Sharks Wanted to Kill Amber
The blink sharks were of the opinion that amber would be the one to trigger it, to open it. They wanted zuks to kill amber rather than have amber activate his this passage. So, zuks is staring at the spot where the the coral beans kind of melted back into the floor and the spires melted into the floor. He kneels down, and using his, his power and his connection to the dead coral, i think, he tries to make a spike of his own that says promise.
