Ronaldo: We thought that there would have been due to fluid overload causing respiratory events and negative events on the neurology. But in fact, it wasn't when we actually re-locked up to what the primary... It sort of caused mortality. The commonest reason for clinicians giving fluid boluses was due to the development of low blood pressure or increases in noradrenaline. That happened in 78%.
