A Sales Engineer, Is That a Good Idea?

i was fortunate to have a great manager who could put a lot of tion on to my career in mentering me. The downside was i wasn't getting especially good at any part of it, cause my day was so varied. And that's when i ultimately decided to leave that company for a chance to get specialized in a sale's engineering roll. I thought, ok, now i can focus on kicking a craft and getting good at it, rather than being a little bit good at a lot of things.
