I grew up in a community that was a pretty conservative. My parents were registr republicans just so they could vote in the primaries and have a voice, because otherwise they wouldn't be able to. And then i went to an old women's college, which i wouldn't recommend for my daughter,. But at the time, i thought it was important because women really had a voice in the class room and didn't defer to men. I think editors have a special, special special place in this process of being able to foster and incubate and bring these ideas to life. P o v is extremely important. It should be actual representation.
