I feel like this book is just required reading for anyone that decides they want to go into the healthcare industry, whether it be working for an insurance or as a caretaker, etc. And those facilities make so much money from all that. It's brutal work. My mom has just started reading it actually I gave it to her after I finished. But I think that one thing that really resonates with me is this argument that we're talking about about the ways in which also the surplus populations do get the way that we start talking about them immediately starts to have and how burdens kind of obscure the role that finance and capital in the political economy have right now do in shaping the health system.
