God of War - Horizon - The Best Game of All Time
God of War was so masterfully done on so many levels that I'm not going to go into we've already talked about it. The animation team is so underappreciated nobody is doing mocap facial animation for side characters the way that gorilla is doing in that game like they are the pinnacle of how good game animation in narrative cutscenes can look. There was a lot of fourth wall breaking in that game that I appreciated because a lot of it was really like humorously done but also they made some real compelling reasons like Kratos wants to spend as much time as he can with Atreas. A father and son on planet earth only have so much time together
