Is There a Ban on the Financing of Fossil Fuels?
I don't find that argument convincing. I think countries are exploring a whole range of energy sources because the energy gap is so large. The investments in renewables will come as the technologies become more cast effective and more accessible to poor countries. There are ways to do this in a reasonable manner, rather than imposing a blanket ban on the international financing of fossil fuels. This an is going to hurt poor african countries the most.
