Agatha Christie
You're Dead to Me
The Mysterious Affair
The most important thing I think from Agatha as a crime writer is what she gets up to in World War I. She enters four years of this really strange time in her life when she's married, but not living with her husband because he's in France. So she kind of goes on living a singleton's life. And she writes her first book that gets published, which is called The Mysterious Affairat Styles and it features a death by poisoning.
