A New Kind of War at Home
A bomb exploded on the doorstep of attorney general mitchell palmer's home in washington, d c. Federal investigators traced them back to followers of a notorious lian anarchist named luigi galiani. Palmer and his wife were asleep upstairs and escaped unscathed, but much of their home was destroyed. Soon, the pro labor pacifist, who had turned down the role of secretary of war, would launch a new kind of war at home. He would earn him a new nickname, the fighting quaker.
