Planets Around Our Stars
The probability that a planet transits, as seen by tests for something like an earth sized planet, earned in a year long orbit, is about zero point five percent. So it's incredibly challenging and difficult to be able to catch a transit. And so the fact that wee found, you know, five thousand t ois at such low transit probabilities, we can extrapolate, and that means that the number of planets is actually really, really common. Like every star in the galaxy that's similar to our sun has multiple planets around them. Eventh the nearest stars to our sun, we must have multiple planets.
