Dress for Success - A Woman's Opportunity
Dress for success is a non-profit that gives women access to professional clothing. Founder Nancy met with nuns in spanish harlem who helped her get the idea off the ground. The group didn't have much money aside from a five thousand dollar check from nancy's great grandfather's estate. Their only asset was their knowledge of the welfare system, which included a vast network of government and private agencies dedicated to helping women.
