The investigators visit a homeless shelter to obtain a log that proves Susan's absence during the crime. They also decide to seek a second opinion from handwriting experts regarding Susan's signature on credit card slips.

After a 17-hour-long interrogation, a woman confesses to a murder. But then, evidence surfaces proving that she can’t have actually done it – and that it was a false confession.
