What Do You Think the Gospel Has to Say About Nuclear Weapons?

For the first 300 years after christ, there was no idea of a just war. Jesus had said, you know, this isn't going to be won by the sword. And then all of a sudden, a just war came into being as a possibility and a unfortunately, christians have really run with that. I think there haster been an unquestioning consent by christians given to nuclear weapons. What do you think the gospel has to say to this and and to the idea that it's justified to kill people as prisoners?
