How Did You Survive the Recession in Pipedobacco?
We were lucky right before the 2001 recession, but that was also when online retail was becoming a thing. Some of it is just being in the right place at the right time. I think we took pipes as a product really seriously and when few others were, then we figured out how to scale it. Something pipes in Pipedobacco is really knowledge heavy. There's a lot to know. A lot that's very specific to the industry and there are not a lot of people that do it anymore. We survived the first few years and there were a number of early entrants that happened all about the same time and they did not.
