The Spitfire: An Incredible Plane

I can't believe you guys have stopped me for nine years from ever mentioning the Spitfire on this show. We've never mentioned that. I'm trembling with joy. And also what a group effort of the UK during wartime to make this plane built to the numbers that it was built at. So lots of the planes flying that were in the war had names like Dorothy of Great Britain and Empire. That was funded entirely by women's called Dorothy. There was the dog fighter as well. It wasn't people who did dog fighting. People were the back of the bus. Check this out. This is the most incredible one. They captured officers who donated their month's pay through the Red Cross
