When you create something new, all you are doing is connecting dots in ways that haven't been connected before. And essentially that's what bookworm is for me reading these books. It gives me more dots to connect. I'm not necessarily worried about retaining X amount of the information in my life. But if you can increase the size of your toolbox, you've got more dots to work with.
