The Challenge of Comparing Yourself to Other Students

In our first day when we were learning to be teachers, we all had write one word on te a piece of paper to sum up our class from culture that we wanted to create. And i wrote down the word competitive and ii not shaned up. I think it's that must be individual to the student. Surely some students want that. Some students don't, ye. The challenge there is, how do you do that in a tactile way, isn't it? Because 50 % of your students are going to go,  there's half the class better than me at this unbelievable subject.
