The Importance of Bamford in the Midfield

I don't really see what's in that squad, but he's going to be suited to what he does. I do sort of think, well, our midfield is absolutely pathetic and we've basically been playing without one. So let's just get a manager who completely bypasses it anyway. Maybe Bamford turns into that bully in center forward. Even if Bamford's not winning it, he's up there causing trouble on occupying defenders. And you look for one center half who can pass it usually long, which they're afraid to do. And that that big pass normally goes up to the center forward. Or you put it into the channel or you hit the winger on the opposite side
