Is the Contagion Containing the Banks?
Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts is a member of the Senate Banking Committee. She has been warning of something like this happening after the 2008 decision to roll back some of these regulations on mid-sized bank. I'm going to ask Congress and the banking regulators to strengthen the rules for banks to make it less likely this kind of bank failure would happen again, she says.
