What I Love About Detective Stories

I really like detective stories. I read them when i have time before bed, and then i like films of them. And even i don't have a television. I've never owned one either. These are weapon systems to me. It's a weapon system i have to own as a writer and a researcher. The detective goes in to wherever the crime happened and starts looking at details, details, details. This is exactly what i do and how i do it. I'm looking for patterns in amongst a lot of detail. So for me, the key to writing about things that i did not go to school for was by doing research myself. A lot of people feel pretty hopeless about understanding
