Postcardiac arrest arrangements in PACO2 are common. After RASK, it is reasonable to target normal capnea of around 35 to 45 or a PACO2 specific for the patient's condition. Patients with bronchopulmonary dysplasia may live at a higher PACO2 value because of their chronic respiratory failure and chronic respiratory acidosis.
