Sonnets, Music, Mirror, Endless Interpretation

The Sonnets are intensely personal because of the themes that they deal with. They're not meant to be completely bare in one soul, though there are glimpses. Shakespeare's art is the art of ellipsis, leaving stuff out by necessity. The amazing thing about Shakespeare is when you read the words that you put on the page, more than any other writer, I believe, every word is loaded with so much like that.
