Attachment and Trauma

CNN's John Sutter talks with expert on attachment and trauma, David Frum. He says complex trauma is not the same as "big T" trauma: a discrete event that happens. Complex trauma means someone has eight or nine major comorbid diagnoses, Dr. Frum says. His research suggests it's really disorganized attachment aggravated by traumatic events such as abuse.
