I remember my son's mother left me when he was two for another guy. She came home one day and said, i'm not in love with you any more,. And literally felt like i descended into hell. I find so compelling about exploring it as this sort of emotional adventurer. But also just a curiosity within myself when i feel a strong emotion coming up that i don't want to identify.
