There's still a large number of security personnel and police available outside London. The sort of organised al-Qaeda plot that tragically we saw on 9-11 in the United States is much less likely than smaller scale activity as we saw a few years ago. This is something that those who are hostile towards the country keep in mind, and it might actually be more sensitive targets,. ones that are perhaps having less of a security presence around them that are going to be at risk.
