The Gendered Aspect of Creation

The idea that God built the world as a cosmic temple is implicit in Moses' words. In this cosmic temple, God did not put a carved image or block of wood or stone but his own likeness. The idolaters do a knock off of cheap, sleazy rip off of the real thing when they build their little temples and then they put their representations of their God into that temple.
