The Frustration of Tracking Down a Lost Person

The most frustrating thing is that in the National Archives, in doing this project called WL416, which I believe is pretty much reached a conclusion. It's prisoner of war records from the European conflict of 1939 to 1945. And he's not coming up in these records. The entries that are coming up on with the surname Brennan are not matching the particular fit for this. Which is kind of a, it's a bit strange because of the fact that we have very precise details. He disappeared off the face of the earth. Like so many people that during the Second World War, it would be great to try and cover him from the abyss into which he has slept.
