S&P 500 was only up about a third of a percent during the month. All of those gains attributed to the big tech stocks that are part of the S&P 500. If you look at the Russell 2000, which doesn't have all these tech stocks, it was down 1%. The Dow was down 3.5%. That's a pretty big decline in one month, especially when you consider the 8% gain in the NASDAQ 100. So the tech stock buyers have been oblivious to all of the problems underlying the economy and the rising interest rate, rising inflation.
