We've classically thought, oh, a mutation, it's just the amount of mutations. But when people actually sequence mutations in healthy skin, you see that many, many cells have these mutations. And yet we're not just walking around with tumors all over our skin. So i think we're field is now trying to understand why that is. Like what other things are necessary for this cell with a mutation in a gen that makes it multiply more to really take off and form a cancer?
