This week's episode of CleaningUp is based on my most recent blog for Bloomberg NEF entitled The Next Half A trillion Dollar Market, Electrification of Heat. And yes, as you'll hear, we're not just talking about heat in our homes and offices, but also heat in industry. When Bloomberg reported that $1.1 trillion had been invested in 2022 in net zero transition technologies, it was a matter of considerable satisfaction to see renewables and electric vehicles attract nearly half a trillion dollars each.
