The Biggest Threats to Snakes
Snakes are prey just as their predators. Especially the skin trade is a big threat. Habitat destruction, fragmentation and alteration all threaten snakes. I'm quite concerned about a very little snake called Ogmedon Vitianus. It's a venomous snake but it's harmless to humans. The trouble with the illegal pet trade is that fines do not fit the crime.
