The Tragedy of the American Middle Class

When you pour capital at cheap rates on things that don't make economic sense, you drive the productive out of business. You talk to a guy on main street and if he gets a $500 tax refund, even though inflation in these games are stealing 5,000 from him that year, he'll vote for the guy who gave him the 500 refunds. And so they're getting squeezed lower income higher expenses. It's tough to explain. That's why Ron Paul,. you know, Ron Paul tried so hard and now his son too, to explain that this was the game that was draining the American middle class.
