The Seventh Year in Life
We attain our spiritual life through active human effort. The role of the seventh year in life, a fact that modern humanity simply does not realize, was deeply rooted in greece. In greek ation, their form of education may fill us with admiration, but it cannot be divorced from these three facts: slavery, the position of women and the relationship between primordial wisdom and spirituality. None of these exist to day, nor would they be considered worthy of true humanity. We must observe the signs of the times if we want to look into the inner depths and find the true impulse for modern education.
