Alastair's Adversaria

CHAPTER

Introduction

In Isaiah chapter 6 we find something that many have identified as a prophetic call narrative. It is related to accounts that we find in places like Jeremiah chapter 1 and Ezekiel chapters 1 to 3. In the year that King Yuziah died, I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the temple. And one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning cold that he had taken with tongs from the altar,. He touched my mouth and said, Behold, this has touched your lips, your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.
