How to Deal With Trauma

With trauma, when you've experienced trauma, anything can be a trigger for it. So whenever I feel triggered or I feel that social anxiety kick in, I just do a little bit of tapping. Another technique I use is to give myself a pet talk and say "I'm like Kate" And then also someone said that our bodily sensations such as nervousness and the anxiety can often be reframed as excitement. If we have that passion and that excitement, we can kind of, you know, give ourselves a bit of a talking to and reframe it.
