Is Distance Really Important?

There are guidelines from American catipatrix that say no child under, I think it says no child should be on the screen for more than two hours. So obviously an iPad in front of your faces, I would think worse than TV across the room. Is distance very important? I think you had a social media post about this, maybe with your kid having them scooch back. If both parents are nearsighted, the child has a one and two chance of becoming nearsighted. And that's just our environment. This wasn't an issue 50 years ago before there were all these tablets and phones.
