There is some evidence in the UK where carbon emissions can be absolutely decoupled from economic growth expressed in terms of GDP to a certain extent. The same thing kind of happens in the climate-based and angry capitalism which is this idea of carbon being the ill and indole question. We don't have the capacity to just offset all the emissions about the global north as it currently sanded in the distributions that they currently have. There simply just isn't enough land to do that.
