Is the Spirit Falling on the Jews?

The spirit falls on the gentiles, just as it did the jews. Does that mean we've got to wait for the spirit first and then baptize after? No, of course not. There is a redemptive historical purpose for what is happening,. That's important. We have purposes for why the spirit falling happened when it did. And so those instances are very particular in redemptive history... It doesn't mean that that is the ordinary. I mean, you could make whole argument for baptism an regeneration, just based on tipology alone, and it would be a pretty solid argument.
