Fertility System vs. Living Mulch
In the fall or late summer of 2017 we set up basically two fertilizer treatments to compare one where we Had ridiculously wide 10 foot row middles and four foot crop rows. The first year I was only able to collect data on the The black beans and the cranberry beans the heirloom dry beans and there wasn't much different although there was a little higher yield in the plots with an extra four inches of hay mulch added.
