The Importance of Organic Farming

Since 2005 in England, more than 25,000 small and medium-sized farms have gone out of business. These smaller-sized farms now account for just one quarter of all agricultural land in England. In England fewer than 3% of farms are organic while across the world the proportion is even lower - 1.5%. So what's preventing more farmers from switching to organic? Tracy Langton takes us on a tour of an organic dairy farm in Derbyshire.
