The Hedgehog in the Fox

There's a saying by Archilicus that the fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing. John Gaddis has suggested that if you want to forecast the future, you're going to be much better if you are a fox rather than a hedgehog. The idea of conciliants is to create a reconciliation between all of the information fields. And I think that it's just about what pays of life you're in, whether you're more of a fox or more of a Hedgehog.
