How Do Twin Studies Affect Personality and Intelligence?
There have been hundreds of studies looking at this idea. What what dies this body of research talisman about things like personality and intelligence, the things you just mentioned? We find that for intelligence, general ability, that that has about a 70 to 75 % genetic influence. But let me be clear about what those numbers mean. It does not mean say that for personality. Not at all. Those are completely intertwined within individuals.
