The Importance of Love in Our Culture

The Bible says you are to love, love. Tragically in our world most people use the word love interchangeably with lust. When I say lust I'm not talking sexually although that's part of it. The idea of lust really means to take, to consume. In fact the Greek word for love in our text is the word philadelphos from which we get our word philadelphia from. It speaks of a selfless kind of love most seen among siblings. We just did our first big family vacation with me and all my siblings,. My parents and nieces nephews.
