Ukraine and NATO - What's the Game Plan?
The game plan is to control the Black Sea, where Russia's naval fleet is. The idea that the North Atlantic reaches to Georgia was George Bush's geographical insight in 2008. When a pro-Russian president came in in 2010 after Bush had invited Ukraine and NATO over the opposition of European leaders,. But this is a US led alliance. Yanukovych guided neutrality through the Ukrainian parliament. That stabilized things for a little while, until Yanukovych was overthrown.
