The Human Aspect of HR

Jeff Osterman, Sweetwater Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer says that the human aspect of what we do is everything. Sometimes HR can get the reputation of being the policy police or they're the ones who are going to come knocking if I've done something wrong. It's not that our team wasn't respected and appreciated, but we've had to do very visible and tangible things in some cases to help people see us differently. And so we're allowing our HR work to set the tone for heart throughout the whole organization.
