Alihu has none of these advantages. And yet the distance doesn't stop a lihu from investigating god's work in nature. A lihu delivers a proto scientific description of the formation of rain. This is an ancient dude figuring out how evaporation works. He doesnt understand evaporation like we do, but he's pressing into a natural phenomenon he sees with the scientific curiosity that will eventually lead to the discovery of evaporation.
