Is There a Singularity of Consciousness?

i think it's so incredibly fascinating to think about this phenomenon of time speeding up in a terrence becana novelty wave theory type of way. It absolutely does seem like the amount of content happening in any given moment is just expedentially increasing in terms of informational density. And i have to wonder what that leads to if it does. You know, i can totally see how mc kenna got to this point, logically, of thinking that we're about to enter a singularity and everything's about to fundamentally change. So to fee like, even a year from now when this conversation aly go out, so fucking weird.
