Is Your House Insulated?
British houses by and large are not insulated. Or if they are, they're insulated badly. And most American houses in most of the country are in climates where if it gets too hot or too cold, bad things can happen. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg to keep your house warm the way it does in Britain right now because our utility bills have gone through the ceiling. But I mean, culturally, the English are into that. So well, there's a thing in this country about being miserable is definitely a thing too.
