Is There Volatility in Our Politics?
I was at the Conservative Party conference last year and you couldn't move without seeing Conservative ministers totally jubilant. And now look where we are? Does that say something about how badly the Tories have screwed it up? I think it's more the first and the second myself. There is quite a lot of volatility in our politics. We've seen some kind of realignment, but that's very uncomfortable where Liz is. But sitting where I am, the prevailing government at the moment has been captured in a quite ideological way. It isn't even representing the mainstream of the Conservative Party anymore,. So I think this is quite heavily about the current Conservative Party.
